does a wireless remote control extender work for direct tv?
we have our flatscreen tv above our mantle and have NO WHERE to put the direct tv dvr visible to change channels so we're trying to find/build a place or shelf to put the dvr visible. somehow we came across a wireless remote control extender online and i'm curious if that would work for our situation. would we be able to put our dvr in a drawer not visible and use the remote control extender to perform all of our functions for direct tv?
Yes. That is what I have done with my setup. I use a Logitech remote.
