How do you fix a broken Wacom Pen?

I have a broken Bamboo Wacom pen, obviously. I tried the procedure of rolfsky I found in Google but it won't work.

So here's the catch,
I think I permanently destroyed the sensor tip or something like that but I'm not sure. I don't want to buy another pen stylus cause my dad would definitely scream at me. I already changed the pen nib but the problem is still on. D: Help?

try reinstalling software for tablet, just in case drivers are faulty,
if the sensor is damaged, it will have to be repaired or replaced,
check warranty, or if expired, search ebay and amazon for replacement pens,

reset the tablet preferences
