Security vehicle lights?

I'm working with my step dad for a security company and we are using our personal cars as security vehicles. I'm the first one who is going to have emergency/strobe lights put onto my car. We have a spending limit and get to choose between white/blue or green/amber. I live in texas and want to know what is legal to use for security vehicles. We have a clear frost decal (makes the words same color as the car just without the clear-coat shine) that says Security Enforcement on the side. Are the colors that i listed illegal to use on our vehicles or are there any other colors i can tell the boss to use?
We work on public streets as crowd/traffic control, and on some highways.

I doubt the cops will give you a ticket for the lights. My friend's dad put blue/red lights on his unmarked sedan in his grill and has a siren, but he works for the fire dep. but he installed it himself, its not exactly government issue. As long as your a legit security business they wouldn't pull you over for it. With the coulours I would choose white/blue, green/amber makes it look like a towing truck.
