My computer has a BLUE SCREEN safe mode doesnt work so can I still recover the data from my hard drive?
My hard drive is working just fine it's the fact that I accidently deleted a windows system file, so is there a way to recover the data from my hard drive and put it on an external hard drive.
I guess my question is can I still get my data on an external hard drive if I cant access safe mode because of a blue screen?
Yes.
1) You can connect your drive to a working PC and copy the data. This is easiest. For the easiest method, get an external case that connects via USB. This way you just plug your drive into the other PC.
2) You can re-install the OS. It won't hurt your files.
