When a connect my Mother Board to the power supply, The power has a blinking light?

Hi everyone,
I think ,my motherboard is overloading. Whenever I connect my mother board to the power supply, the power light on the power supply starts blinking. This occurs only when I connect the mother board. Is there any way to fix the motherboard. Or is it better to buy a new motherboard. Also I tried this other power supply it does work either.

It sounds like a short to me. The only thing I can think of, besides it being defective, is maybe there is a conductive object somewhere on the surface. I'd say look very very closesly over it and check for anything that may have fallen on it, or maybe some wires that are hanging down on touching it. If you can't see anything, try getting some of that compressed air made to blow on computer parts and blow it across the board to make sure its not anything just too small to see or just blends in.

The other possibility is that its either defective or was damaged to the point that caused an internal short. In either of these cases, I hope your warranty is still good and I'd say send it back.

All of these theories are based on the fact that your second PSU did work (your wording is iffy there), otherwise I'd say it was a PSU thing. If not, are the power supplies the same? One may be defective or just not strong enough to power the motherboard.
