Pir Sensor

i have outside lights with pir sensors,have just had a power cut and now light doesnt turn off it just stays o
i have a switch indoors to turn them off and remember reading something about switching them on and off to keep them on all the time but cant remember what to do so that they return to sensor mode and turn off after 30 secs.
can anybody help??
they are just standard wickes own brand
Turn them off for about 5 min, and then turn them back on. They should go back to sensors. If you ever want to keep them on without sensor, turn them off, and then back on within 3 seconds, and they'll stay on. Then repeat the off for 5 min thing to return them to sensor.
