System Sensor Spectralert?

I have a question regarding a System Sensor Spectralert Horn/Strobe fire alarm I have. I really want to have a voice evac system to have in my house, but I don't have a panel because I want to save money to put towards flight school (I want to be an airline pilot) rather than waste money on an alarm system, so I want to be able to make the most of what I have. We have a stereo system that requires you to hook up two wires to the speakers in order for them to project sound. I was wondering, since the Spectralert has 2 wire ports for the horn, would it work if I hooked up those stereo wires to the horn to get the alarm to play music. I want a serious answer before I try anything, because the last thing I want is the alarm blowing up on me. Please respond if you have the answer I am looking for. Thanks

Commonly, there are speaker/strobes and horn/strobes. What I suspect you have is a horn/strobe, whereas they both have speakers, the difference is in what input you have to connect to.
Speaker/Strobes in industry speak do not have the protocol built in to determine its sound output. These, in theory could be hooked up to a stereo.

Horn/Strobes have the protocol (as in: what sounds they make is all they can make) for the sound output built in. They only look for power to be activated. If that "built in" protocol is bypassable: my suspicion is that you'd basically get one guess at tinkering with the circuit board, before its destroyed.
