How to prevent people from seeing through the open window of the ground floor?

I live in a ground floor apartment and all windows look out onto the sidewalk. I like having my windowshade to let sunlight through people, but it was not corrugated plastic I have recorded more than half of the window, making it effectively impossible to see through, but if I have the people window open can still see through the space. What is an effective and inexpensive to prevent people from seeing in the sunlight while letting? I considered taking a fine mesh or sheer fabric to attach to the bottom of my roller shade. Would this work?

How about window tinting? Get the temporary character that you can take when you leave the apartment.
