This guy was the test of fire?
Hello. I just saw this show (idk what it was) but there was a guy who was on fire, but didn't get burned. before it is turned on they put this weird stuff all over my body ... it looked like a little Vaseline? can someone tell me what this substance is and how it prevents you from getting burned? Btw im not going to try at home, if what ur thinking.
It is a special gel. The gel burns if the person under it does not. It forms a protective barrier around the person. Should there be a discrepancy, however, the person would immediately feel the heat and get poor combustion. There was an episode of Time Warp where they revisited the Fuel Girls, and they did a few stunts with this kind of gel for them. Look for it on Discovery if you're really that interested.
