which prepaid wireless provider is best in south dakota?

trying to explore my options.....i dont think i have to many.

South Dakota is a tough coverage area. You basically have three choices:
Net10, Tracfone and Verizon prepaid.

Net10/Tracfone will probably have the better overall coverage as they buy airtime from 30 different carriers all over the country. They are the one company with better coverage then Verizon.
Net10 is simple. 10 cents a minute/5 cents a text all the time.
They have a basic but okay phone collection, most phones come with 300 free minutes, no extra charge.

Tracfone has cheaper phones but minutes cost more but last longer.
Always get a phone with double minutes for life. This will make the cost of the minutes a lot less. Tracfone also has bonus promo codes. So for example, between the double minutes and the promo code, a Tracfone user can turn a 200 minute card into a 460 minute card.

They both have great international rates. Net10 charges only 5 cents more to call 60 countries at 15 cents a minute. Tracfone, there is NO extra charge as long as you activate the international service plan.

Net10 requires activation too. No international texts though. And mostly to landlines, cell phones are usually not included.

Verizon prepaid's strong points are its unlimited 99 cents a day web plan and unlimited messaging package for $20 a month which includes pic/vid/text/im . Neither Net10 or Tracfone has real web or a text package . Their minutes though are less then Verizon's which are 25 cents a minute. They have other plans too, but they all require at least a dollar a day access fee or more on days used. I hate those as you can make ONE call and there goes a dollar , or more. They do have mobile to mobile and unlimited night and weekend options which Trac/Net don't have. At extra cost of course.

Page Plus is a Verizon prepaid reseller that has a new unlimited talk/text plan for $40 but they are SWAMPED right now. The good thing about them is Verizon prepaid coverage at a lower price for talk/text and they allow you to use any Verizon phone on their system. Verizon prepaid will not allow the use of smartphones on their network. Page Plus will. I would seriously wait out Page Plus at least a month though because they are just impossible to reach these days since the unlimited plan was launched four weeks ago. They normally have good customer service but are just completely overwhelmed. This happened to Boost mobile too when they went unlimited so it is not really surprising.
