Customer Entrance

Have you ever had a part/time cashier position at Loblaws (preferably Empress walk location)?

How much is the entrance wage at a cashier level? Do they provide flexible shifts?
How's the atmosphere of the place and customer's attitude towards you?

Honestly I can't tell you because I've never been at Loblaws but I used to work for an independent chain.

The wage I would imagine would be minimum. The flexibility would depend on your boss and also the work schedule. You may be required to work a minimum amount of shifts/week. Atmosphere is okay but I think just by reading this post you are higher qualified than you think.

Working as a cashier can be a little bit strenuous because of the long hours on your feet and you can develop hand cramps.

However, a job is a job.

Why not talk to some of the people who work there and see what they think of it?
