Best RC transmitter torpedo underwater thing I want to build.?

Ok I have this 4''OD x 50 "pipe that I'm building submarine torpedo-shaped thing on in. There will be pumps, a camera, lights, servos, and batteries, circuit house all these good things. But what is the best way to control something I thought a RC transmitter, but could be a bit difficult and I do not know how good it would work under water, but I was also thinking of doing with issuers Parallax and house remote control panel software can be a thing even though I am adventures. Or is it better do it all with a fastener. Best transmitter RF is an RF transmitter at all. In most water attenuates RF frequencies one or absorbs radio waves to such a degree that the transmission the most useful frequencies is almost impossible. You can use eVLF som, or very low frequency RF to transmit data. The best would be to use a modulated ultrasonic sound or to send and receive data and signals contr0l. Basically sonar. Something in the range 50 to 100KHz should work. You'll need to find sonar transducers or surplus, or perhaps get their hands on a fish finder sonar old or Ebay or another source. You can probably modify it to send and receive data other than to find fish or depth of the seabed Believe it or not, this would be a relatively simple to say, the wave modulation with a sonar signal from an IR remote control, and detect at the other end as a sound wave LED module and couples the data to one of these $ 3.49 IR detectors / demodulators that Radio Shack sells. Couple that with a microcontroller as an embedded microcontrollers, and you may have a strange, but quite possible underwater remote control! Sounds like an interesting project. Oh yes, the approach woul home will be much easier, but what fun what it be?
