What's the best way to get the content off my Directv HD DVR onto disk?
I have a Directv HD DVR and want to have the ability to copy my favorite programs onto DvDs. My brother in law uses a separate stand alone DVD burner to copy media from his DVR via RCA cables. I don't want to purchase anything I don't need to. I already have an iMac with a DVD burner and it also has a Windows XP partition on it. Does anyone know if I can connect my HD DVR to my Computer and copy data to it? Thanks
None of the Directv DVRs have that capability, according to discussions I have participated in on the Directv forums.
